Riverside Animal Hospital is excited to announce the addition of Morgan Helfrich, DVM to our medical team!  Dr Helfrich is a midwestern transplant who fell in love with Bend on her first visit to Central Oregon.  She is a graduate of University of Illinois where she received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2012 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2017.  Dr Helfrich remained at the University of Illinois to complete a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship before moving to Bend in 2018.  Since arriving in Bend, she has been practicing at the Bend Animal Emergency and Specialty Center.

Dr Helfrich has special interest in urgent care, surgery, toxicology and pain management.  She is excited to start forming long-term relationships with clients and care for their pets throughout all life stages.

When not working, Dr Helfrich enjoys spending time in the great outdoors mountain biking, skiing, paddle boarding, hiking, camping in the wilderness, and throwing the frisbee for her two rescue dogs, Rogue and Nova. Dr Helfrich is a self proclaimed bookworm and loves snuggling up with a book and her three cats (Henry, Draco and Cassian).

Dr Helfrich will be working Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and rotating Tuesday and Saturday.
