Dr Helfrich graduated from the University of Illinois in 2012 with Bachelors in Animal Science. With Illinois being her home state, she stayed to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 followed by an internship in small animal medicine and surgery. In 2018, she moved to Bend where she took a job at the Bend Animal Emergency and Specialty Center. She joined Riverside in 2023 and has enjoyed the transition to day practice!
Dr Helfrich has special interests in critical care, surgery, pain management and toxicology. She is excited to form long term relationships with clients and care for their pets throughout all stages of life.
Dr. Helfrich will be seeing patients on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with rotating Saturdays and Tuesdays.
