Bend Veterinarian – Rodney Toogood, DVM
Rodney Toogood received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. He practiced in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area for 25 years, 20 at his own practice. Dr Toogood and his wife, Gretchen, also a veterinarian, moved to Bend in 2014. He enjoys working part time to stay active in the profession and to be part of the community. He particularly embraces the human-animal bond and enjoys helping to maintain pet health and well being. Dr. Toogood is a 30 year veteran of the Minneapolis music scene and continues to play bass guitar in Bend. He and his wife are avid mountain, gravel, road and fat bikers, they also enjoy skate skiing and like to travel. They currently have 2 hilarious dogs, Astro and Beckett, and the best cat ever, named E.
