I grew up in Northern California and spent years in Seattle, Chicago and finally, Richmond, VA before landing here in Central Oregon. In all the years I spent away, I never stopped dreaming of returning to the Pacific Northwest, and now, I’m thrilled to call Bend my home. My career in veterinary medicine began in 2000, when I realized that I could no longer be happy just ‘having a job’. I needed to come home at the end of the day and feel that my work had value, that I was spending my days doing something meaningful.
In 2005, I completed my degree and became licensed as a veterinary technician. I have proudly been caring for your furry family members ever since! While there are many challenging and rewarding components of my job, I have particular interest in critical care nursing and dentistry. In my free time, I enjoy photography, bird watching, hiking and reading.
I’m interested in native landscaping, and this Spring I’m looking forward to planting a garden, which will attract birds, butterflies and other pollinators. I am so proud and excited to be taking on the role of lead technician at Riverside Animal Hospital. I look forward to working with you and caring for your pets!
