Raised on a dairy farm near Salem, Oregon, Dr. Cummings knew at a young age she wanted to be an ‘animal doctor’. Surrounded by a menagerie of animals as a little girl, her love for caring for them transformed into a lifelong passion. She is honored to be a veterinarian, and finds immense joy helping owners care for their pets. Dr. Cummings graduated from Oregon State in 2003, and completed a mixed-animal internship in Prescott, Arizona. Since moving to Bend in 2006, Dr. Cummings has worked in private practice as well as for the Humane Society of Central Oregon. Areas of special interest for her include dermatology, cardiology, dentistry, preventative medicine, and senior care. She is an active member of the OVMA, AVMA, and COVMA. Compassionate and thorough, Dr. Cummings works very hard to make sure her patients receive the best care.
Dr. Cummings and her husband, Brian, have two very busy young children- Axel and Lily, and a bouncing little dog named Bandit. She enjoys camping, catching dragon flies, road trips, baking cookies, photography, mountain biking, and water skiing.
Dr. Cummings sees patients on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every third Saturday.
