Dr. Debbie Putnam, DVM – Bend Veterinarian
Dr. Debbie Putnam is a New Hampshire native that traveled south for her education and a warmer climate. She attended Auburn University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1992 and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. After spending a few years practicing in the Southeast, Dr. Putnam and her husband, Mike Putnam, decided to move to Central Oregon to pursue outdoor interests. Since moving to Oregon, Dr. Putnam has worked at Dove Lewis Animal Emergency Center in Portland and The Animal Emergency Center of Central Oregon. She transitioned to day practice several years ago and enjoys making lasting relationships with clients and their furry family members. Her special interests lie in emergency and critical care medicine, trauma and pain management.
While not at work, Dr. Putnam enjoys long runs, cross fit, backpacking with her family and traveling. She has one daughter, Emma, and 2 dogs named Walter and Tiny.
